“Goodnight and May God Bless – The Red Skelton Tribute” celebrates one of the world’s all-time great comedians. The show is coming to the Market Hall Performing Arts Centre in Peterborough.
This moving tribute to Red Skelton is clean, lasting comedy at its finest. Roots comedy that feature Red’s clowns and characters in pantomimes, skits and improv, it is funny stuff for the whole family. See Red’s famous characters such as Clem Kadiddlehopper, the two seagulls Heathcliff and Gertrude, the Mean Widdle Kid and Freddy the Freeloader, to name but a few, come alive.
Tom Mullica shines in this tribute to a good friend. In his artistic and magical hands, the show reveals the many sides of the man Red Skelton through his hilarious antics. Blending the Red-That-Was while simultaneously inventing a Red-That-Would-Have-Been, it is true theatre..
Mullica’s Red Skelton show is critically acclaimed as “the funniest and most successful tribute show in America!” It is the only show of its kind endorsed by the Red Skelton Estate, and by Red’s widow, Lothian Skelton.
