Get ready to rock with one of Canada's most celebrated musicians, Joel Plaskett, at the Market Hall on Thursday, February 23, 2023. Presented by Peterborough Musicfest. Plaskett a native of Nova Scotia, gained traction in early 1990s as a member of the alt-rock band Thrush Hermit but, come the new millennium, he started touring under own name back by his band The Emergency. All the while, he has been busy in studio, where he has self-produced most all of his many albums.

This concert will not only be an evening of great entertainment but also an opportunity to support local music. All proceeds from the concert will go towards funding the talented artists who will take the Musicfest stage this summer.
