Cirquelesque is a fusion of Circus and Burlesque theater with social consciousness, diversity and a sense of humor. This cabaret-style show had 5 successful years of entertaining 18+ audiences on Valentine's Day at Market Hall PAC. The Peterborough Academy of Circus Arts and its artists are gearing up to bring it back on Feb 14th & 15th, 2025 featuring aerial arts, cyr wheel, fire arts, acrobatics, balance, and puppetry.
For our sixth year, we thought it was about time to travel…in all directions! That means forward, backward, even upside down. This year’s show titled Cirquelesque 6(9) - Sexy Time will explore time travel, and play with the irresistible warping of 6 into 69. We're bringing back MC Character “Brenda the Temp” (from the 2024 show, who just "filling-in") but full-time as a Mad Scientist with a PHD (in Ass-troPhysiques), she will represent women in STEM and invent a time machine that takes us across time and space to discover even more sexy circus acts!
