The latest documentary from filmmaker Jamie Kastner who brought us The Skyjacker’s Tale, is an fascinating twisted and dangerous tale of Canadian art fraud — There Are No Fakes.

Kastner exposes the story of a painting, apparently by iconic Native artist Norval Morrisseau, that leads rockstar Kevin Hearn (Barenaked Ladies) who buys it, into the shocking world of an art forgery ring in Canada’s far north.

“My job here was to expose certain truths, I suppose you could say, and hopefully inspire the audiences to act on this information now that it has been put before them,” - Director Jamie Kastner,
